For Halloween this year, we decided to switch it up and..... you'll never guess it.....GIVE OUT BANANAS. That's right, we're bananas for bananas! (too much?)
For our Area 1 Project this year, we were tasked to promote health in our community. Through our various service projects this year, we have promoted health through the support of the Topeka Rescue Mission but felt like we could do more to impact our community. So we packed up Brooklyn's trunk with bananas, popcorn, and other fun treats for children and headed to a local church.

Pictured above is our 2015-2016 vice president, Brooklyn, helping a local chef and cowgirl load up their bags with goodies.
That Halloween, we also saw that local leaders can become local LEGENDS. Yes, that's right. Small actions in leadership and community DO make a difference in people's lives and can lead to great success! This little guy sure seemed impressed by Alice (i.e. Brooklyn) and her commitment to leadership.

Spooky, huh? In the Holton KAY Chapter, we believe that we are instrumental in giving student the opportunity to be impactful, mindful, and cheerful servers in their communities, nations, and, ultimately, worlds. How have we impacted you this year?
